I agree that there is a differnce between a man who loves his mother and a man who is controlled by his mother-or made into a 'wimp' by his mother and all could be called 'Mamas boy'. I, as the proud mother of a mamas boy say that there is nothing wrong with Love from mother to son (or any any other family relationship.)
I think its true that some nationalities do have a closer parent child mother/son relationship as a cultural aspect, But better that -as long as its the healthy type of mamas boy -than distant cold ones where members of a family have much 'baggage' to sort through before they can be loving to their own lovers/spouses etc and those who dont talk to each other at all ...
