We've been successful in securing a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn for $89.00 each. If you'd like to take advantage of this room rate, please use the code ABC (Andrea Bocelli Concert) when you call to make your reservation. This rate involves no booking fee and the cancellation policy allows you the flexibility of waiting until 6:00 pm on November 12th to cancel the room if necessary.

If you already have a room reserved and the price you've been given is higher than the one quoted above, you can call back with your confirmation number and give them the code - they'll bill you for the reduced rate.

Also - if this rate is EQUAL or ABOVE the rate you've already received, please let me know and I'll discuss it with the hotel.

I checked the rates on line and received a rate of 87.20 for that night. Not a big difference but I thought I let you know..

OK, just tried again and learned that the lower rate comes up with "Best available" but has the following policy:

Modify or Cancel Policy: Your reservation cannot be modified or cancelled

The rate we were given allows you until 6:00 pm on November 12th to cancel if necessary. So...good news/bad news, eh? :roll:

LATEST UPDATE, 9/6: The first block of 20 rooms has been expanded; there are now 9 rooms available.

Hi Melodie.....I have just a few days ago joined this forum. I had my tickets for Bocelli on Ice BEFORE I joined and had already made our reservation at the Holiday Inn for myself and my daughter as an extended N.Y. stay. But..say, we would really like to connect with you all at some time during the two days we plan to be in Bridgeport if at all possible. We plan to arrive in the early afternoon of Thursday, Nov. llth.
This will be our first LIVE Andrea experience and we are beyond excited about it!!!!

Hi Rosie...welcome! Please - if you're paying more than $89 for your room, call the Holiday Inn and give them the "ABC" code...they'll give you our rate.

I'll be posting something soon about meeting before the ice show...probably in the restaurant/lounge area of the hotel. Do you know when you'll be arriving?

Hello again, Melodie......We will be arriving early afternoon of Nov. llth from New York. We originally were going to arrive on the morning of the 12th, but I became afraid that SOMETHING might go wrong with connections and we'd be late for the show and since he's only going to sing a few songs (or so I've been told) I, naturally, wanted to take every precaution. We'll just have a little more good time in Bridgeport!!!

I'M sooooo excited....and I just can't hide it. (Say, isn't that a song??)
