Although we don't have this cd, I have just run across this name - Matt Dusk - and found him quite relaxing and sweet sounding. Kind of a romantic, flirty Frank Sinatra type of voice.
I have yet to listen to all of the clips yet, nor read the article. Was bouncing around on a few different clips (liking each of them alot) and then flipped right out for "Don't Go Looking For". Angelo likes it too! Wish the clip was longer.
I like this Matt Dusk guy! And what a career he's getting off to at only 23 years of age.
Nellie, I know you love new music names, when you get a chance, check him out on the below links ----- and try not to drool over his photo's. I'm having a bit of a problem with that in this moment. Angelo is laughing at me! *lol*
Genre: Cross-over, Classical.......per iClassics

Matt Dusk - Two Shots
Premiering June 14th, The Casino, a new unscripted TV series created and executive-produced by Mark Burnett [Survivor], will feature the charismatic vocalist Matt Dusk as the main lounge act at the Golden Nugget Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. The Casino provides viewers with a unique 24/7 behind-the-scenes glimpse of the real-life dramas taking place at this Las Vegas casino. Dusk will be featured throughout the series performing from his upcoming debut CD, Two Shots, and will appeal to music lovers interested in the likes of Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr., Peter Cincotti, Michael Buble or Norah Jones.
Matt Dusk was hand-picked by new Golden Nugget owners Tim Poster and Tom Breitling for his cool, old-school “Rat Pack” style that they want so much to revive at the Golden Nugget. Every week, the program will begin with Matt singing the remix “Two Shots” (written by Bono and The Edge) over the opening titles. In some episodes, Dusk may only appear as a peripheral character, but more often he’ll usually be performing and entertaining the interesting mix of characters that populate The Casino.
Dusk’s material on his Two Shots release features a mixture of his different styles. Although a majority of the record is comprised of original compositions, the album in fact takes its name from the song Bono and The Edge wrote for Frank Sinatra prior to his death. Sinatra never had the chance to record “Two Shots,” but Bono gave the go-ahead for Matt to record it. “I would have to say that ‘Two Shots’ is one of my favorites on the album because it involves two of my favorite artists of all time and it’s an incredible song. Unfortunately Frank died before he got a chance to record it, so U2 released it as the B-side [on one] of their singles...but it kind of got lost in the woodwork, so it’s a great honor for me to record it, ” said Dusk. Out of all the songs on this CD, Matt holds “Five” up to be his personal song of choice. “’Five’ is simply a huge, heart-wrenching song of hopelessness,” he says. “It’s that feeling after a break-up, when you’re absolutely hopeless. I think the songs that most affect people are the slower and more pensive ones.” With this level of intensity in mind, off and on throughout the record a 42-piece string section from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was added to contribute a true luxuriance to the music reminiscent of the heyday of the great big-band balladeers.
Dusk has carefully selected his song material here to show off the various dimensions of his musical artistry. The bright and moving groove of “Windows” is in sharp contrast to the heavy handed emotionalism of “Every Mother’s Son,” whereas the “windswept, autumnal feel” of “Precious Years” seems to hark back to the days of the epic ballads such as “Days Of Wine And Roses” or even “It Was A Very Good Year.”
The album finds his rendition of The Beatles’ “Please, Please Me,” alongside a batch of his own songs and new material by other writers specially commissioned for the project. When The Beatles recorded “Please, Please Me” in 1962, they played it in a hectic, up-tempo arrangement, though Matt’s version “...gives the song a whole new meaning. The original was a very happy-go-lucky song – it’s great, I love it. I really enjoyed the sentiment of it. My version is more pensive and reflective, where The Beatles version is very in your face. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong; it’s just a different way of doing it.” Featuring these moving standards and original songs, Two Shots has a sophisticated and reminiscently pleasing sound to it. A star in-the-making, Dusk’s career is really off to one powerful start.

Thank you Sandi for the links. He is very handsome, beautiful voice but I am not too crazy about that kind of music. There are many others that sound like him (or Sinatra, for that matter), who I liked only when he sang certain songs. Besides, I can't help but to associate this style with the maffia, and that's what I thought when I was listening the sound clips
And what's funny is that the article contained in your second link confirmed my feelings:
