Hi
I just want to share this with you, I bought my Italian father tickets to see Andrea last night 4th row from the front at Sheffield Hallam FM Arena, Andrea was amazing, it was a spectacular evening, my father knew the words with him being italian so he was enjoying himself humming away and a young couple turned extremely nasty towards my father telling him to shut up etc... which spoilt our evening.
I hope no one else experienced this. |

4th row?!! How wonderful for you!! Please share more details with us - how did Andrea look (health-wise), what did he sing, etc.
It's unfortunate that the couple near you couldn't have been more polite; while I understand that they probably didn't want anything distracting them from hearing Andrea, they could have been more polite about it - instead of "shutup" they could simply have said "sir, we came to hear Andrea." Does your father have all of Andrea's CDs? He could sing along at home just as loudly as he wants to! |

We've all been waiting to see the program - thanks for sharing it! Did he sing anything from his new CD, "Andrea"? Do you remember what he sang during his encore? (which I assume he had?) Standing ovation(s)? |

I believe I read somewhere that the song from ANDREA performed was "Dell' Amore Non Si Sa". As of this moment, I won't be seeing a concert on this tour. From reading the program, if it doesn't change for the USA I won't be missing out--beyond the THRILL of seeing and hearing THE MAN in person of course. With the exception of the new cd encore, this show reads an awful lot like the SENTIMENTO tour concert from a few years back which I did see. I HOPE they are planning some changes for the USA tour, even if I don't get to go to a concert. I'm sure Andrea knows PLENTY of OTHER songs. He really shouldn't be so shy about trotting out a new batch now and again. |
