IL DIVO Arrives In AMERICA!

IL DIVO is a new vocal concept featuring 4 internationally renowned young male singers who apply operatic technique and virtuosity to the interpretation of romantic songs from the popular repertoire, with full orchestral accompaniment. The group is made up of Carlos from Spain, David from the US, Urs from Switzerland and Sebastien from France and was envisioned by American Idol's Simon Cowell.

IL DIVO just made their American Television Debut on The Oprah Winfrey Show with Simon Cowell introducing them. They performed the lead track from their album, "Unbreak My Heart (Regresa A Mi)". Upcoming appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on April 12, The Today Show on April 18 and Live with Regis and Kelly on April 19. Their self-titled album will be in stores everywhere on Tuesday, April 19.

buckeyeboy--while I'm no fan of Il Divo, either, I wouldn't talk of them and pollution in the same statement. There's a lot worse stuff out there to be sure. But I think the whole concept is SUCH a gimmick, I wonder why anyone hasn't connected them to the Spice Girls yet. It's really the same idea--and we know where THEY are today! I saw them on something and they mentioned doing a concert tour "next year". I thought that was awfully optimistic for them to think anyone will still care next year. It will be good news for them if anyone still cares next month.
