CONCERTO DEL CUORE – On the 19th of January Andrea Bocelli will perform at the Carlo Felice’s Theatre in Genoa for the Gaslini children’s hospital.

This charity initiative, strongly supported by Cardinal Bertone in first place, an then by his successor, the Archbishop Bagnasco, has been also financed by several important Italian companies.

The concert was originally planned for the 5th of July, but it was cancelled for a little health problem occurred to Andrea Bocelli.

Both the tenor and the Orchestra of the Carlo Felice Theatre, wanted to perform for this noble cause, so the concert has been fixed for the 19th January, 8.30 p.m.

Tickets will be sold from the 9th of november 2006 to the 19th of January 2007.

The 2005 edition provided the children’s hospital with a machinery for the heart surgery, making the Gaslini one of the most advanced children’s hospital in the treatment of heart diseases.
