I am not sure which composition I prefer. I will look for you opinions. I know I prefer it in BW. (havent tested sepia which gives it a tobacco tint)
Give me five.
Ok in this shot, Andrea is reaching for Maria and Lydia
You can see him warmly embracing Lidia after a warm reception from the Philly crowd. He has also grasped Maria's hand. Unfortunately I didnt want to bump into the videographer or I would have tried to compose that in the shot. Next time, the videographer 'gets' it. :)
Thanks Melodie for the 'gallery'. Hopefully some of these will make the brochure and others to 'decorate' the Mercurio Party at the Hard Rock. |

John, John do you know what choosing a Favorite Bocelli photo does to
me? Its like trying to choose a favorite son from my three dear ones. It like saying which of my two grandchildren is the dearest? It just can't be done.
Your photos are all superb but since you want a choice....I must say the 1st one posted with Andrea and Steven joining hands. Theirs is a symbiotic
relationship which brings out the best in each other. We, the fans, recieve the best each man can give and the music lifts all of us into a higher realm.
And give that video guy a swift kick since none of us ever see the videos
of the concerts we would like to relive or wish we could have attended. You have shared generously with us and I want to thank you again.
I won't get to meet you because I'm not going to be there until Sat. but if there are any souvenirs to commemorate this event please give one to Ahma or Marg for me

John ...... how on earth can we chose one photo over another !! .. they are all so special in their own way ..... I love the first one of Andrea & Steven except in B&W; ( I like the way that one is cropped) ....
The one of Andrea reaching for Maria & Lydia is great because they all have such huge smiles & looking at each other .....
However the one that captures the feeling of that night is the last one ... the warmth between the three of them ... their joy ... and seeing the tears rolling down Maria's face as she looked at the audience you could read in her eyes she didn't want it all to end (remember?) .... I guess that's my favorite because I was there and in looking at this photo it brings it all back as if it was yesterday .... you may have missed her hand but you got her face that says it all ...... Thanks for sharing them they are wonderful .... and I like them all in B&W; ... you may have to make me some more prints ( other than the ones with Olivia & Andrea) ....
This gallery is a great idea .. Thanks Melodie !!! _________________ Some people come into our lives & quickly go..... Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts & we are never the same..... |

| Big Fan Sue, you missed the best ever chat last night! Where were you? Or were you there earlier? I went to see the movie "Hollywood Homicide" and I entered the chat very late. There was the person who took these wonderful pictures and we really had a wonderful time talking about many topics, all related to Andrea, of course   8) |

Oh -- too bad as I had seen John twice taking his lovely photos in Philadelphia and NJ. I'm trying to find the one he took of me and my husband with Gary (busman) and his wife when we were leaving.

Just popping in admiring the comments. lol.
Seriously, give me a little detail.
Which reception: Meadowlands or Philly?
The Meadowlands was a LONG complicated affair because of the different groups. I dont recall taking many shots at the Philly event, except for a group of women AFTER Andrea had departed -which I just posted in the Concert in the Park thread.
I may have taken a few additional images during the intermission in Philly.
(I also have a couple FABULOUS shots, of some unwitting people in the front row using infared that was able to capture them in almost total darkness. This was during the encore. Anyone here in the front row in Philly?) _________________ www.Phillywood.com

I have several of your photos saved in my Bocelli folder as they are beautiful. I was at both NJ and Philadelphia concert. First row in NJ not the Philadelphia one.
You took a photo of my husband and I with another couple when we exited the NIAF reception in NJ. Didn't see that on your site.
Hope to see you at another future Bocelli concert! -- Sue  _________________ BOCELLI YOU'RE THE BEST!!! |

Dear John...THE IMPOSSIBLE...to select one...each bringing back the exquisite feelings of being there..sigh, sigh...The first picture showing the very close relationship of Andrea(of the golden voice) and Steven(of the magic wand) is, without a doubt, my favorite...exquisite pictures, John, hard to not see what a humble, loving man he is!!!!!!
Yes, I was in Philly and sat in the second row _________________ What you truly believe of another, you awaken within them |

:D Having a great interest in photography myself, I think the first
one is composed beautifully! I life the third B&W; because of the smiles \
that they all have from a great performance. I was'nt there so I don't get to share the energy in a way in the way some of you did...but thanks for sharing the great results! 8) :D elena |
