| Wouldn't we all love THAT to be on our morning paper? :D A definite eye-opener  to be sure! I wonder what the story is about, with "America" in the title and all. I put what looks to me to be "sentire" in at the online translator (OH NO!  ) and it said "hear". So is the story about how lots of Americans went to Bologna to hear Andrea in the opera? It's true! I wonder if anyone we know who went will know about the article. |

He looks fantastic! :D He looks so slim and no beard! :D I really wish I could have been there. According to the paper, they are having very cold weather and snow in Rome. Very unusual for this time of year. Sounds like Buffalo! We have single digit temps or below and some snow. Perhaps he will do it again in summer!
Gosh, I adore that man. _________________ Musica E' Andrea Bocelli.

Hi,
Most of all I love Andrea! Sometimes when I have played everything of
his that I own and I think I own everything he has ever done, I start looking for others. I have Alessandro Safina whom I like better in video than on the CD, but he is a very nice and good young fellow. I also have
a Mario Frangoulis video (Sometimes I Dream) and he is also very good and fun to watch. I finally found Alex Montana's CD, Omnia, and was very disappointed. I love his duet with Andrea of Omnia Amor Vincit but the one on the CD is not with Andrea. I ordered one from one company and then another company also sent one so I have two. I am trying to return one. If anyone wants it, it was $22 and it is still sealed. Some of the songs are pretty but some are very modern and "far out".
On New Year's Eve I was sad and alone and turned on the TV and Alessandro Safina was on and it was a great show ( a rerun on PBS). And then, there was our dear friend Steven conducting. I felt like I was sharing the evening with an old friend.
Since falling in love with Andrea I have looked for more Italian music. I always enjoyed Pavarotti when he was in great voice and our American Italians like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and Perry Como but only recently started to look for real Italian music. I think Helene is so sweet and sounds great and Giorgia but I do not know if I would like an entire CD with them. They need Andrea with them! :)
My avitar, yes I love it and cannot change it even though they are no longer together. This is how I want to remember them as a beautiful family. I really wish I could have seen him in Werther. : I have the LaBoheme video and was amazed at his acting ability in that.
My I am going on and on.
Take care,

Hello again,
By the way I love that line on your e-mail "Marry the man..etc." I have Mario Frangoulis on a video not a CD so I have to be home to watch it. I usually put it on and get on my treadmill to work out. I printed the lyrics out from the computer but can't sing and workout at the same time! I should get the CD so I can play it anytime. People walk in my house and when they go in the family room they say "You really like Andrea". I have his books, photos, and music all over. Many think Josh Groban is the best but I just am not moved by him. I think he sings very well but something is missing. I am going down to the basement to work out so I will put in the Pavarotti and Friends 2 video. I bought a TV/VCR for the basement in front of the treadmill. I cannot wait for the video of Werther. I was so thrilled to hear there will be one. I wish his other operas and concerts were on video, like Madam Butterfly. I want to see him in that white suit! It is hard to believe he is only 45. It seems he has already accomplished so much in his life. Sometimes when he lets his beard and hair grow, he does look a lot older. He is so beautiful I prefer him clean shaven and with shorter hair but I would take him any which way! I know, I know, I am about old enough to be his mother! _________________ Musica E' Andrea Bocelli.

Signora,
I am going to go to Amazon.com now and see if I can find that CD. If you recommend it, it must be great. Were you able to get the photo at "Bologna Bocelli Sara' Werther.jpg"? I could not get it here. _________________ Musica E' Andrea Bocelli.

Hello,
Iris had sent a new photo of Andrea but I could not open it. She sent it in another format and I got it. He looked absolutely dead tired. His schedule is much too hard on him. I only saw him once. That was in Las Vegas in November. It was fun meeting many fans and seeing Andrea. I was not as thrilled as I thought I would be. It was so expensive! He did not say a word. He looked fantastic and sounded wonderful. I was not very far away. Perhaps I still was in shock that I actually was there! I kept looking at him on the huge screen. I don't know how people have the money to follow him all over. I have to work! I can't wait for the video of Werther. That I really wanted to go to Italy for. I checked the CDs and found several Celantano. The one you mentioned did not have a photo of the cover. I have not ordered it yet. Pretty soon.
Better go.

Dear Signora and Bobbi,
I enjoy your posts very much tonight.Signora you always lift my spirits up. so keep up your sweet and gentle thoughts to us.Am going to look for that Cd you mentioned because I can never decide on an
Italian female singer. She sounds enchanting. If you have more favorite
lady singers let me know.
Bobbi,I also love that family picture but didn't know how to put one on the forum.Still a dummy on the computer.
Another reason you both touched me is that you like Mario
Frangoulis. Even though Andrea is first in my heart, Mario's voice is awesome.I have a few other recordings of his that are marvelous. The
Acropolis Concert is breathtaking. He is Greek but his Italian French and Spanish are impeccable. He's making a new recording now and has a
singing role in a movie that is coming out in a few months. It is titled
De Lovely-movie about Cole Porter's life.
E-mail me about the AC concert.hard to find.Have to write to Canada.
I would have loved to see Werther too,but too far away. I was at
the Mandalay to see Andrea in November and I agree it was expensive.
but i was happy to go and meet many lovely fans. Ciao Dottie |
