I treated my friend, Nancy, to a concert on Saturday night for her birthday. We went to hear Roberta Flack appearing with the Alabama Symphony. She is a great entertainer and still has that smooth, sexy sound with some new twists. Her group of musicians were top-notch, especially a saxaphone player who was the best I've ever heard(He also played clarinet, flute and a percussion instrument I didn't recognize) The young man who sang duets with her was also fantastic, energetic and had some smooth, versatile sounds and dancing moves.
I couldn't understand the names of any of these fab young men when she introduced them but their talents were outstanding. It was a most enjoyable concert when she took the stage.

PS The Ala. Symphony is smaller than when I last heard it. Budgets cuts have deminished its quality.
