| Hi, my friend and I attended the concert in Newcastle last night. What a show! Everytime I see him, I think he can't get any better - was I ever wrong! He was on top form and looked so well. He obviously enjoyed the reception he received from the capacity audience. He spoke at the end yet again apologising for his "orrible English", which by the way is not the case, at least he tries. The programme was similar to past concerts although he did sing two from "Andrea" and finished with Time to say Goodbye, which brought tears to my eyes as this was the last song played at my son's wedding last August, it brought to mind James and Angela having the final dance alone out on the patio of the beautiful old style hotel where the reception was held. Newcastle, I believe, was delighted to host his concert and expressed their appreciation loudly and lovingly, what a shame the police closed most of the roads leading to the Arena at the end meaning so many people had to walk a distance from the venue to catch their transport home - a very big thank you to all the taxi drivers who worked miracles getting us to our destinations what a happy and friendly crowd - soto the hotels - we couldn't return to Peterborough that night - just too far in our "Andrea glased rosy glow". Worth the trip. |

| Lorna, I wonder how you guessed that! Yes, he was with me on the way home, as he is every evening on my way home from work (with a few interruptions from Bryn). I just know you will enjoy the concert in Manchester. Best wishes |

Hi Melodie,
Can't sign in for some reason but the second encore was Sempre O Mai. I'll post my thoughts later.
