And Andrea was awesome, awesome, awesome. Didn't care much for the soprano but I don't like sopranos in general. The choir was a nice touch. They didn't have the sound turned up loud enough for the first few songs, but once they turned it up, things sounded much better. It sounds like the program was the same as the Philadelphia show. The show wasn't sold out (there were several empty seats on the lower level)but the crowd seemed to enjoy it.

This was my first concert and I loved it. Hearing him singing My Way was worth the price of the ticket alone. Also loved hearing Nessun Dorma and Ave Maria live. He certainly can sing anything (I'm sure I don't have to tell any of you that).

With our programs we were given a brochure for a new skating show coming to Air Canada Centre on October 18 - Kurt Brownings Gotta Skate with Andrea Bocelli singing live! Other skaters are Jamie Salé and David Pelletier, Elvis Stojko, Brian Orser and Shae-Lynn Bourne (like any of you care what skaters will be there ) Tickets go on sale May 2.

Thanks for staying up to check in, Karen! It sounds as though seeing Andrea for the first time was everything you'd hoped for - and how could it have been any less? wink

And thanks for the mention of the ice show - people DO care what skaters will there there! LOL It also tells us that Andrea will be back in N. America if the Fall, and THAT'S good news.
