What a wonderful performance, although I wish there was more Bocelli and less ballet!

To the point... I am a classical newbie and he sang this wonderful song near the end of the second act. I'm trying to find the name of the piece. I only recognize it because it played in the background of the Godfather III's last scene when Michael Corleone dies and falls over in the chair.

That's probably too vague, much like asking the name of a tune because "it has a good beat and it's easy to dance to."

But if this strikes a chord with anyone, please let me know the title of that song.

Note: I think a little research answered my own question. It appears the song I'm looking for is from Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana and Intermezzo, which is on Bocelli's Sacred Arias. If you have a chance to see the Christmas performance, please do. It's incredible.
