Wow
I was at the MSG show last night amd I was a little nervous after having read the comments posted about the Uniondale concert. I have been a long time fan of Andrea's, but this was my first chance to see him live. He's an amazing performer, and there were times when his singing took my breath away. While it would have been great if he had performed for the full two hours and 45 minutes, I also enjoyed the other performers and felt that this show has really kicked of the holiday season for me.
I am almost tempted to go to the Meadowlands show tomorrow night!! |

| I believe it was "Nessun Dorma" - it was also the second encore at the Boston show - which I just attended. (doing my happy dance) |

Si, Melodie! It was the same at Madison Square Garden.
Hello Johnny,
Melodie is correct, the second encore song was "Nessun Dorma" from Turnadot. _________________ Beddu Turridu !!!!!!!!!!!! |

As much as I LOVE "Nessun Dorma" (made me cry at the New Jersey show in April) I think I would have felt like "huh?" if Andrea had performed that song for a second encore in Chicago. The Chicago concert ended with him, Denyce Graves and the choir all performing "White Christmas". Denyce and the choir sang their parts in English and Andrea sang his in Italian, natch. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful holiday show! |

| That sounds like fun, Janice - the whole chorus and everything. "Our" White Christmas was a duet with Andrea and Denyce. |

OUR 'White Christmas' (in D.C.) was a solo! LOL Andrea is giving us a bit of variety. Maybe he knows we'll be comparing notes. _________________ "To sing, to sing, to sing......." (Andrea revealing his future plans to Classic fm) |
