Melodie, I know that everyone who will be at the concert will be Bocelli friends or fans but we need something to help us recognize Bocellionline friends. Maybe someone can suggest a way we can spot each other immediately.
Also, if the concert has no reserved places for general admission or tickets of any kind...how are we going to meet for a party at HRC and yet get a good view of the stage?? Just asking because what have experienced around here holds no comparison to what I expect of Central Park.
I can't get into LGA until 2:30pm so I guess I'll be late already before I start

Sarah, we have to play this by ear right now...my initial idea is to have the party around noon or 1:00 pm on Saturday. My thinking is that those of us who arrive on Friday will hit the Park early on Saturday to claim our land, and the only thing we can do is take turns guarding it as the day goes on. Cell phones are in order here, people.
This is only a preliminary plan...I'm open to suggestions from one and all.

| I will be right by the park.So I would be willing to guard some space for us.But who will guard it when we are at the party?Just wondering. I don't have a cell phone though. So I would have to have somebody join me who does. But we have plenty of time .To plan everything.Even though I am chomping at the bit. For time to speed up .So I can see my Baby! You may have to tie me down after the concert .Because I will be on cloud nine, ten , & eleven. And I don;t care if I am acting like a teenager.I can;t wait to see him again    :D |

| I went to the Central Park site .And the concert will be at 8:00 p.m.! On the great lawn .The way it looked it does not seem that we will need tickets. It just says that the concert will be on the great lawn period :!: |

Melodie,
Maybe we can also make 'loose' plans for after the concert too??
I'm good at asking questions but don't know enough about NYC to answer any.

Guess I'll have to send the husband and the 2 dogs to guard us a spot on the Great lawn  Maybe he should bring a rug instead of a blanket.
Seriously I bet there will be people sitting there early in the morning staking out there space if it is a nice day. I've gone to some of these and you;d be surpirse how many people will come hours and hours ahead of time and sit there and wait.
I've even had tickets and to enter and had to get there several hours ahead. :? Sue _________________ BOCELLI YOU'RE THE BEST!!! |

I'm all for getting to the park as early as we need to ..... Marg & I will be arriving on Friday we can sit & hold our land ... as long as we can get breaks from time to time .. I will have my cell phone .. but I may need to borrow Big Fan Sue's 2 guard dogs ... there are enough of us coming that if we all work together we should be fine ... I'll get up at dawn & go to the park as long as someone will relieve me later so I could shower & put on make-up .... if we work in shifts it will all work out ... it's going to be GREAT !!!! _________________ Some people come into our lives & quickly go..... | As the time comes closer. We can plan everything out.We can do it.I would be willing to take a shift. As I am certain there will be a lot of people trying to get a good spot.I am thinking of bringing one of those fold out chairs. You know the kind that is in a bag.Or should we all bring blankets?Well let me know what everybody thinks is best. |
